About Joyce Rho, Esq.

Attorney Joyce Rho graduated from high school in South Korea before moving to the United States to pursue higher education. She earned her B.A. in Global Studies with a minor in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), driven by a passion to advocate for the rights of North Korean women. During her undergraduate years, Joyce participated in a summer study program at the United Nations Headquarters (UN) in New York, where she solidified her decision to pursue a career in law.

Joyce earned her J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles and became a licensed attorney in California. Before and during law school, Joyce gained hands-on experience in advocacy and legal practice. She interned with the Committee for the Release of Korean War POWs in Los Angeles, contributing to efforts to bring charges against Kim Jong-il before the International Criminal Court (ICC). While attending law school at the University of West Los Angeles, she served as a law clerk at Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California, assisting victims of domestic violence in securing legal protection and justice. Joyce also excelled in oral and trial advocacy during law school, demonstrating her strong skills and passion for effective advocacy.

Today, Joyce is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their American Dream through immigration law, while also providing strategic legal support to small businesses and corporations in California to help them grow and thrive. Additionally, she represents clients in personal injury cases, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
